In these test cas=es I execute the query like this dig A.example.com. +bufsize=1024 = & as per the log..........in TN Additional Section ----------=-------------- OK rdlength: (rcv:0, exp:0) OK ttl: (rcv:0, exp:0) =OK name: (rcv:, exp:) OK class: (rcv:1024, exp:1024) OK type: (rcv:41=, exp:41) NG rdata: (rcv:0, exp:) In the last line that is "rd=ata" its failing...where the script expects it as empty (As per script)...B=ut there again its expecting "rdlength" as zero. This is quite contradictor=y....coz the empty is nothing but the NULL character ('\0') ....Thats why i=n "name" we are getting it as empty...but its length is 1. This means root =domain......as per RFC 2671. So in rdata section I think it got some issue =in the script.... Please comment... thanks & regards Prem =25_2.html (attatchment)(tag is disabled)
