Date: 2 Jan 2006 23:29:02 -0000 From: "PRAMENDRA SINGH" <parma_it@rediffmail.com> Subject: [dnstest:00047] Script change in test case 32 & 33 To: "dnstest" <dnstest@tahi.org> Message-Id: <20060102232902.23621.qmail@webmail6.rediffmail.com> X-Mail-Count: 00047Hi In test case 32 9CL_RFC1034_5_3_3_delegation - Analyze the r=esponse(delegation)) & 33(CL_RFC1034_5_3_3_cache_delegation - Analyze the r=esponse(caching delegation)), the TN sends a delegation in the 2nd step,= where in the authority section we get the referal of NS2.example.com. &= in the additional section we get the IP address for this NS2.example.com.= But in realty in the additional section it comes as NS2.NS2.example.c=om. the NAME contents, i changed the name='' in the script for addit=ional section & 32 got passed....but in test case 33, first it wasn't worki=ng at all..once the same same change I did it now executes all the steps as= per the test sequence.....but even after getting the response 4th step my =resolver again sends the same query A.example.com , whereas it should not.=...I guess its not a problem with my resolver....I believe your script migh=t be sending the response in the 4th step with different "query id" ,...tha=ts why my resolver again sends the same query...well I'm not sure....this m=ay be one of the coz... plz comment on this... thanks & regards= Prem47_2.html (attatchment)(tag is disabled)
