Hello Everyone,I am testing DNS Client using the DNS Conformance Test Specificationfor Client Revision 1.0.DNS test platformRelease-1.1.1 of Upper Layer Protocol Conformance Test Tool (koi)Test suiteDNS Test tool version 1.1.1Test SetupDual DNS Client on linux machine ------cross cable-------Tahi suite on Free= BSD = (with all packages installed)I face some problems in the following test cases.1. In the test case number 5.33, ie, "Caching Delegation", Tahi expects= a CNAME query to be sent in the end. But before prompting the user to send a CNAME query, Tahi fails say=ing "DNS Remote failure" I could not find out why this is happening.2. In the test case number 5.34, ie, "Caching CNAME", Tahi expects a st=andard query B.example.com to be sent. When it receives that query, it sends a CNAME response= with A.example.com as CNAME. And Tahi expects DNS Client to send a query for A.example.com. Eventhough the query is sent, it is not able to receive it. It says= "try to receive" and and after sometime, he says that the test case fails. Anyhow, in test case number 5.28, Encounter a CNAME, which has a simi=lar scenario to be tested, Tahi is able to receive the packets correctly and the test case passe=s.3. In the test case number 5.25, ie, "Returning of answer", Tahi expect=s an echo request to be sent in the end. But by the time echo request is sent, the Tahi says "Receive No pac=kets" and the test case fails. Kindly help me in solving the above problems. Thanks & Regards,MythiliThe information contained in this electronic message and any attachments to= this message are intended for the exclusive use of the addressee(s) and may= contain proprietary, confidential or privileged information.
