IPv6 Interoperability Test Event

The TAHI Project invites you to participate in the Interoperability Test Event that will be held 
just before IETF IPng Interim Meeting at the same place as IETF IPng Interim Meeting. We look 
forward to your participation.

FEES:

The registration fees will be 2,000 YEN per person for two days or 1,000 YEN per person for one day. You are requested to pay the fees in cash in the Japanese currency when you check in at the Registration desk.


ACCOMMODATIONS:

A travel agency, JCOM, will arrange your hotel.
JCOM is now preparing a web page for registoration. Please wait for a while.
Primary: Mita Miyako hotel 2 minutes walk to the venue. Take a taxi from the Shinagawa station. 100 single rooms have been pre-allocated already.


REGISTRATION:

Please register by Friday, September 17, 1999.


CONCEPT & SCOPE:

  1. Conformance test. 
    The conformance test will be performed for your implementations as required.
    You can select the functions to be performed.

  2. Interoperability test accordance with our scenarios. 
    At the coming IPv6 Interoperability Test Event that will be the first step of IPv6 
    Interoperability test, we verify interoperability in accordance with the scenarios by 
    building the model network and attaching the target equipment to the model network.

    The model network will consist of the equipment installed with KAME on FreeBSD.

  3. Free environment. 
    The environments (Hubs, routers, Ethernet cables, power supply, etc.) which you can 
    freely use for interoperability test with another implementation will be provided. 


REQUIREMENTS:

If you want to perform the test in accordance with our scenarios, the target machine is required to have the following functions.

For a Router machine
Your Router machine should be supporting:

(1) RIPng
(2) BGP4+

For details, see the scenarios.


For a Host machine, it should be supporting:
(1) Ping
(2) ftp (Client)*
(3) ftp (Server) *
(4) Multicast Client Application *
(5) Multicast Server Application *

Note: The items marked with " * " are optional.

SHIPPING EQUIPMENT:

Participants will be responsible for preparing equipment for the interoperability test. You 
may ship your equipment to:

RESULTS:

The TAHI Project will decide whether the test results should be made open suiting
