Hello all,

I have installed Tahi version 3.0 on FreeBSD 5.2.1 and Test Cases Version
2.1.1. The installation of Tahi has been done as per Installation file
INSTALL.v6eval for FreeBSD 5.*.* and higher version.

For the creation of bpf, the following action has been taken as mentioned in
the Installation Guide.
*the case of FreeBSD 5.X-RELEASE*

/etc/rc.conf

devfs_system_ruleset="devfsrules_unhide_bpf"

----------------------------------------------------------------

/etc/devfs.rules

[devfsrules_unhide_bpf=1025]

add path 'bpf*' user root group wheel mode 0660 unhide

----------------------------------------------------------------

The installation takes place succesfully. While trying to run any script for
test, I get the following error messages.

can't open bpf or socket
V6evalTool.pm Could not get ready response from
Died at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/V6evalTool.pm line 2309.

Tool.pm line 2468.
Compilation failed in require at ./BEGIN.seq line 48.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ./BEGIN.seq line 48.
make: don't know how to make 2. Stop

What is the reason for this problem? Why isnt it able to open bpf or socket?
Can anyone suggest me any fix.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
Kishore.
