You need to uncomment the line corresponding to your tty in
/etc/inittab file (in your linux machine) and restart the init process
by typing init q. And also you need to comment the lines corresponding
to the tty in freebsd machine. And then try cu.
Hope this will help you..

Hi ,
I think problem is with cu command on FREE-BSD.I
Whenever I execute
cu -l /dev/cuaa0 -
I just get echo "connected" on TN console
Afterwards console gets hang-up happens. Even I tried
cu -l /dev/cuaa0 -s 115200
But the result is same.
I am not getting remote login prompt via cu command
Things work if I use port cuaa0 with Mincom.

Hi,
You are using Linux as NUT. Did you specify System name correctly in
nut.def file?
Please check nut.def file under /usr/local/v6eval/etc/ dirctory once
again.
And also check really installed file.
Eg)
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/V6evalRemote.pm.
Best regards,
