Hi, Christy.

For 1), you can use anything for "references".
The examinor doesn't care about "references".
The importance is that every "targets" are from different vendor.

For example of 1.6.D,
the combination will like following
when counterpart devices chosen by you are from vendor A and vendor B.

    test with vendor A)
        TAR-Router 1 = your vendor
        REF-Router 3 = vendor X
        REF-Router 4 = vendor X
        TAR-Router 2 = vendor A
    test with vendor B)
        TAR-Router 1 = your vendor
        REF-Router 3 = vendor X
        REF-Router 4 = vendor X
        TAR-Router 2 = vendor B

For 2),
"Test interoperability specification appendix" is it.
You can download from <http://www.ipv6ready.org/about_phase2_test.html>.

The current appendix is <http://www.ipv6ready.org/pdf/IPv6Ready_P2_interop_1-8.pdf>.
