If you are talking about the one that I think you are, if I remember correctly that version was created for Debian-based systems. I started with that one, but it wouldn't compile cleanly on Fedora, so I still had to make a few changes.
It may take me a day or two to get some free time, but I'll go ahead and try to pull together a patch file.
