Hello everyone,

We had done some test about MIPv6 interoperability test in two different
kinds of software. One is MIPL: ubuntu+mipv6 package (from
http://op-ha.nautilus6.org/documentation/FAQ/N6PackageRepository), the other
is using FreeBSD5.4+Kame-20080301-freebsd54-snap.tgz.

When we did our experiments using interoperability test suite, we found
MIPv6 works well on mipl, but not well on freebsd. We trace the process of
mipv6 in freebsd and we found some problems. There are two important
processes in freebsd: mnd and babymdd. It seems mnd always "dead" without
any operation on it. When we check the system log, the resean is about core
dump. In addition, babymdd need to reissue a movement message to mipd after
we restart mnd process, then it can work well. Does anybody know the reason
and how to solve this?

Kindly Regards
