When REF1 send ICMP6 Echo request FreeBSD machine(Tar) replys back with ICMP6 'Parmeter problem'. One good think is that the same test case passed when Linux machine act as a router. Just i was looking abut this problem in internet, the FreeBSD 7 release note says "Processing of IPv6 type 0 Routing Headers is now controlled by the net.inet6.ip6.rthdr0_allowed sysctl variable, which defaults to 0 (off). For more information, see security advisory FreeBSD-SA-07:03.ipv6. [MERGED]" I tried the same option in Router and it was not working for me... tar2# uname -a FreeBSD tar2.ipv6logo.hp.com 7.0-RELEASE FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE #0: Sun Feb 24 19:59:52 UTC 2008 root@logan.cse.buffalo.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC i386 tar2# sysctl -w net.inet6.ip6.rthdr0_allowed=1 sysctl: unknown oid 'net.inet6.ip6.rthdr0_allowed' Please help me any of know about this problem. Thanks in Advance, Regards, Arul727_2.html (attatchment)(tag is disabled)
