Facing an issue with the following testcase and description is as follows: *Test Case:* "Test v6LC.3.2.3: Multiple Prefixes and Network Renumbering (Hosts only) " *Problem:* Inconsitant behaviour (Test case passes some time and some time it fails) *Test case passes for following Sequence: *1. Two Router advertisement is sent with prefixes p1 and p2. 2. DAD NS is received from NUT for both the addresses (A1 and A2) that are formed using the prefixes (P1 and P2) got in RA. 3. Tahi waits for 5 Sec. 4. Solicited NS is sent from TN to NUT for both addresses. 5. NA's are received from NUT. *6. Tahi script waits for 16 Sec *7. Solicited NS is sent from TN to NUT for both addresses (A1 and A2). 8. NA is sent for address "A2" and address "A1" is deleted. *9. Tahi script waits for 5 sec. *10. Solicited NS is sent from TN to NUT for address A2. 11. No NA is received because address A2 is deleted from NUT. *Test case fails for following two sequences: Sequence 1:* 1. *6. Tahi waits for 15 Sec* 7. Solicited NS is sent from TN to NUT for both addresses (A1 and A2). 8. NA is sent for address "A2" and address "A1" is deleted. *9. Tahi waits for 5 sec.* 10. Solicited NS is sent from TN to NUT for address A2. 11. NA is received because address A2 is not yet deleted from NUT. *Sequence 2:* 1. *6. Tahi waits for 16 Sec *7. Solicited NS is sent from TN to NUT for both addresses (A1 and A2). 8. NA is sent for address "A2" and address "A1" is deleted. *9. Tahi waits for 4 sec.* 10. Solicited NS is sent from TN to NUT for address A2. 11. NA is received because address A2 is not yet deleted from NUT. *Note:* The differences seen in the test execution for failure and success case is marked in red. Because of the timing issue, Test case is failed. Please clarify... Q1. What is the condition for tahi scripts to wait for 16 and 5 sec? Q2. Is this inconsistant behabiour of Tahi script is expected? Test Setup Details: 1. IPv6 Conformance Self test version: Self_test_4.0.4 2. IPv6 Conformance test tool version: v6eval-3.1.0 Also i faced the same problem in Self_test_4.0.3, are there any known issues with this script. Kindly update with your valuable inputs ASAP... *Thank You and Regards, Shobha*1093_2.html (attatchment)(tag is disabled)
